Who we are
Kevin Spencer Tree Surgery is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. You can reach us on 07798 823118 or at spencerarts@hotmail.co.uk.
What we collect
When you send the quote form we receive your name, email address, and any phone number, postcode, type of work and message you give us. If you call or email us, we receive the details you share.
Like most websites, our web server keeps short-term technical logs, including IP addresses. We also briefly keep a scrambled copy of the IP address used to send the form, to limit spam. This website does not use cookies or analytics.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and carry out any work you ask us to do. Our legal basis is that this is needed to take steps towards, or to carry out, a contract with you, and that we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and keeping the website secure. We do not sell your information or send you marketing.
Who handles it for us
- Resend, which delivers form messages to our inbox
- Microsoft, which provides our email
- Hetzner, which hosts this website
- SunnDeck, which runs and maintains this website
Some of these providers may handle information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the legal safeguards they have in place. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and for as long as we must keep business records for tax and legal reasons.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to or restrict how we use it. To do this, contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
